Advanced Home Energy
Thanks to a generous offer from Richmond-based Advanced Home Energy, winner of 2010's "Best of the Baylist" in the Green Building category (and co-owned by the uncle of a Tehiyah student), members of the Tehiyah community have the opportunity to improve their homes' energy efficiency and reduce Tehiyah's environmental impact at the same time - all for a reduced price. During the months of November and December, if you sign up for a $200 energy audit with AHE, $100 of the price you pay will be donated to Tehiyah to fund energy-efficiency projects and other green improvements. During 2011, the audit price will revert to be based on a house size. AHE will continue giving half back, which means donations to Tehiyah could be bigger than $100 !

Solar City - Solar City
Solar City has established a “Tehiyah Community Program” whereby each staff member, parent or alumnus who goes solar with Solar City generates a $400 referral for Tehiyah Day School (this is for a residence). If a Tehiyah community member owns a business and installs a commercial system with us the referral fee is $1,000 to Tehiyah.
